Former NFL running back Jamal Lewis sold at auction a Super Bowl ring awarded to him by Baltimore Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti. The ring fetched $50,820, per ESPN's Darren Rovell.
"Jamal is one of the all-time Ravens greats. This ring was hotly contested and we saw a lot of interest from Ravens fans," said Ken Goldin, who runs the auction house in Maryland that sold the ring.
"It's a tremendous price for a retired player who got it as a honorary gift, as opposed to being an active member of that team," Goldin added, per Aaron Wilson of The Baltimore Sun.
