Nigeria has decided to postpone the country's hotly contested elections for six weeks, as violent attacks from the extremist group Boko Haram grip the nation.
Despite pledges of support from African Union countries taking part in a joint task force to combat Boko Haram, it's still unclear who will command the forces — or whether the country will make any gains against the brutal Islamist group that has carried out hundreds of attacks against civilians and displaced 1.5 million people in the country's north.
