Sundance Selects has acquired North American rights to Andrew Haigh’s 45 Years, starring Charlotte Rampling and Tom Courtney, which premiered at the Berlin International Film Festival.
The film, which Haigh adapted for the screen from a short story by David Constantine, centers on a married couple who are about to celebrate their 45th anniversary, when the body of the husband’s old girlfriend, who died 50 years earlier in the Swiss Alps, is discovered and stirs up old memories.
