Somebody forgot to tell Russell Westbrook he doesn't have to take the All-Star Game seriously.
The Oklahoma City Thunder point guard had a monster first half, scoring 27 points on 11-of-15 shooting. ESPN.com's Royce Young noted that Westbrook broke the record for most points in one half of an All-Star Game.
According to K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune, Kyrie Irving and Glen Rice were the co-owners of the previous best, 24 points.
