J.J. Abrams' Bad Robot Productions Gets a Deal Extension From Paramount — hollywoodreporter.com

Paramount Pictures has extended its first-look agreement with J.J. Abrams' Bad Robot Productions through July, 2018, the two companies announced Wednesday. While Abrams is currently directing Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens for Disney, which is planning a Dec. 18, 2015, Bad Robot is currently shooting Mission: Impossible V for Paramount with Tom Cruise starring and Christopher McQuarrie directing. The film is also being produced by Cruise, and co-financed by Skydance Productions and will be released on July 31, 2015.
