According to an article in today’s edition of The Independent, a life size marble statue of notorious Libertines frontman Pete Doherty is set to be displayed at a new art exhibition (titled “Stations Of The Cross”) at London’s St. Marylebone Parish Church, opening March 17. The Independent reports that Doherty (who is currently fresh out of a Thai rehab facility) was put into a full-body plaster cast for the work, created by the artist Nick Reynolds and somewhat cheekily titled For Pete’s Sake.
