Florida Gators forward Dorian Finney-Smith, the team's second-leading scorer, has been suspended indefinitely for a violation of team rules.
According to a release from the school (h/t OnlyGators.com's Adam Silverstein), the redshirt junior will miss Wednesday's meeting with Vanderbilt and "likely more games." Details of why he was suspended are not known.
Finney-Smith, who was also suspended at the beginning of last season, is averaging 12.9 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.3 steals per contest. He's shooting 47.5 percent from the field and 39.8 percent from long-range. After winning SEC Sixth Man of the Year last season, he has been one of the most productive players for the young Gators team in 2014-15.
