TORONTO — In case you weren't aware, today is Bill Murray Day at the Toronto Film Festival, with audiences treated to free screenings of Murray classics including Ghostbusters and Groundhog Day.
The celebration will be capped off on Friday night with the premiere screening of St. Vincent, Murray's new film in which he plays a dastardly curmudgeon who begrudgingly begins to babysit the 12-year-old living next door. The film vacillates between comedy and tearjerker, and is the debut effort from filmmaker Theodore Melfi.
