Review: Bowers & Wilkins T7 Bluetooth Speaker — wired.com

Sounds great at modest volumes; remarkably close to the sound signature of B&W's famous iPhone docks and AirPlay speakers. Battery lasts over 15 hours. Smart hardware design uses a honeycomb dampener and a rubber exterior to minimize rattle. Bluetooth, yay! Pairs easily, supports AptX. Audio tends to be over-compressed. The digital shaping that occurs at higher volumes makes Jimi's guitar sound like a car horn. Charges with a bulky wall wart instead of USB. Not splash-proof. No speakerphone function. Given the competition, $350 is too expensive.
