We haven't heard new material from the Violent Femmes in since 2000's Freak Magnet, but on Wednesday the Milwaukee punk trio released a new track and announced an upcoming EP that'll be out in April.  The song's called "Love Love Love Love Love" and leads the release of the four-song Happy New Year, which drops for Record Store Day on April 18 on translucent champagne-colored vinyl. It's a shuffling ode to the single life, as singer Gordon Gano announces "some people know when to settle down, me I can't help but wonder what's on the other side."
