Xiaomi, who recently launched the Redmi 2 and MiPad in India, is said to be working on a new smartwatch to compete with the Apple Watch. The company didn’t announce its affordable Mi Band in India, but is now said to be working on its successor. A Chinese website 36Krypton reports that Xiaomi plans a new smartwatch with a large round dial and pulse measure feature. This means, unlike Apple Watch, it will feature a round Moto 360-like design. However, it is expected to come with premium materials and brushed metal design. There is no word on whether it will run Android Wear, and also the feature that will make it compete with the Apple Watch.
