The widely celebrated Let The Right One In is on its way to becoming our most adapted contemporary horror classic. Originally a novel by Swedish author John Ajvide Lindqvist, the story was scripted into the incredible 2008 Swedish film form director Tomas Alfredson, remade by Matt Reeves into the well-received American movie Let Me In and terrifically brought to the stage by Jack Thorne and the National Theatre of Scotland, a production which just finished a run at Brooklyn’s St. Ann’s Warehouse. Now, channel A&E, currently airing Psycho series Bates Motel and the remake of the French The Returned is bringing the story of a young boy and his vampire neighbor to series.
