Florida punk act Against Me! and the now-wrapped TV series Glee have received stamps of approval from GLAAD.
GLAAD is a U.S.-based group that promotes lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender presence in the media, and celebrated its honorees at a ceremony here Saturday night.
Against Me!, whose lead singer Laura Jane Grace came out as transgender in 2012, received the award for outstanding music artist, while Glee received a special recognition award just a day after its final episode was aired.
