Cool, I was considering buying that same one, but ended up buying a Nikon d3200. So far so good! Although I'm a bit of a rubbish photographer :/ in my first trip to Japan I kept on playing with the manual mode, and when I returned home, I noticed most photos were rather blurry...
I was uncertain about which camera buy...Nikon or Canon? I've choosed Canon just for a discount done by the shop for my Canon!! I think that the best thing to do is practice...practice and experiments! The only way to understand the secrets of reflex potography! I use in manual mode only the 1100...
