LONDON — It might not seem it when you're armpit-deep into a stranger at 8 a.m. on a Monday morning, but the thousands of underground journeys Londoners make daily can be quite beautiful.
26-year-old Will Gallia used Oyster card data from 562,145 journeys on the London Underground network in 2009 to create this visualisation. Using Transport for London's recommended journey routes, he predicted the path that each individual would take across the network with a custom journey planner.
