Paul McCartney and Metallica will headline this year's Lollapalooza Festival, which rolls into Chicago's Grant Park July 31st through August 2nd. The long-running fest unveiled their lineup Wednesday morning, and it features Sam Smith, Florence and the Machine, Bassnectar, Alt-J, TV on the Radio, Tame Impala, Alabama Shakes, Death From Above 1979 and many more.
McCartney will serve as the Friday night headliner, the Chicago Tribune reports, with the Weeknd, the War on Drugs, Alabama Shakes, Kaskade, Gary Clark Jr, Flying Lotus and Radiohead's Philip Selway also scheduled to perform July 31st. Saturday night will see the arrival of Metallica along with Smith, Tyler the Creator, Charli XCX, Kid Cudi, Brand New, Django Django, Alesso and more.
