The last time Laurie Terlick found himself on a skateboard was 38 years ago. Back then he was a devil-may-care teenager living in the small city of Albany, Western Australia. Terlick and his mates would skate barefoot on home-made boards, wearing just-below-the-bum stubbies, T-shirts optional.
