Two universes are set to collide as Young Sheldon stars Iain Armitage, Lance Barber and Montana Jordan make cameo appearances in an upcoming episode of The Big Bang Theory.
The actors, who play Sheldon, George Sr. and George Jr. on the spin-off show, will briefly appear in a December episode of The Big Bang Theory.
CBS is remaining tight-lipped about how the Young Sheldon characters, whose lives in early '90s East Texas are the subject of the show, will work into a story in the present-day The Big Bang Theory world.
This isn't the first time The Big Bang Theory has gazed into the Young Sheldon universe. Earlier this season, "The Tam Turbulence" revealed why Sheldon and his childhood friend, Tam, drifted apart. Last season, The Big Bang Theory introduced Jerry O'Connell as Sheldon's older brother, Georgie.
Before his role as Cooper family patriarch George Sr. on Young Sheldon, Lance Barber appeared in a Season 5 episode of The Big Bang Theory, "The Speckerman Recurrence", as Leonard's childhood bully.
