Firstly, In the same way as the majority cars are transported around the world, motorcycles can also be shipped on a select number of RoRo vessels that run between Australia and New Zealand. Motorcycles shipped in this manner are simply ridden on to the vessel and lashed to the deck in an area on the vessel designated specifically for motorcycles. All motorcycles shipped via RoRo are lashed to the floor in one of the many fully enclosed decks to ensure the bike remains protected from the elements during shipment.
