New mystery OnePlus screen technology is coming very soon — androidauthority.com

A post on Chinese social media site Weibo (via 9to5Google) has revealed that OnePlus is prepping to unveil some mysterious new screen technology. The company sent out press invites to a January 13 event about its recent display developments, but it doesn’t give us any official information about what we will see. At CES 2020, OnePlus showed off the OnePlus Concept One, a concept device featuring electrochromic glass to hide the rear-facing cameras. We don’t suspect this upcoming event will have anything to do with this tech, but it’s interesting to see the company make two announcements like this within the same month.
