Calcio e Finanza have written a piece outlining the algorithm that will be used in case Serie A is halted again. Michele Criscitiello unveiled the document that will apply if the season is supended or cancelled and it is impossible to complete the games in the respective time. The algorithm is relatively complex and takes a number of factors into consideration but above that, if the season were to end now Milan would drop two places to 9th. According to the application of the algorithm by the outlet, Milan would end the season with 50.5 missing out on the final Europa League spot.
