*ANIME ART 2018 ANIME NEWS *

Better late than never, the slightly delayed edition 27 of Anime Arte brings 514 both official and fan-made images of 39 of the more than fifty animes that debuted in the fall season - a new record, anime news surpassing 507 images (but those from 43 series) that appeared in the issue aboutlast year'sspring season.

I could even make brief comments here about fandom behavior this season (which in the last two weeks caught a little crooked - mouth supporting girl from an anime there as a winter "muse", creating fanart after fanart on top of her after seeing her in a bath scene) , or explain that such gallery only hit the mark of gathered images because this time I was too lazy to be very selective and stick to the usual maximum number of 25 images for any anime, causing some more popular titles to pass of this easy mark, easy due to the abundance of available gear - like the one of the mechas with suggestive positioning of its pilots or the one of the badass skeleton man who wants to dominate everything, for example - but I'm finishing this so late, and the "100% Orange Juice" window flashing just below the taskbar calling me to come back to the game is so tempting to me, I'll stick around - but until I ended up stalling a lot, right ...

Anyway, due to the size of the post, which can be heavy for many to connect, and also because it is more convenient, I once again leave a link to download all the images at the end of the post. Finally, I also notice that I used the Gelbooru, Pixiv and Zerochan sites as a base; in case someone wants some more detail about the author of a certain image, just leave a message talking about it.

The creative and harmless side of fanarts

Many of us carry a certain eagerness to better express what we like or dislike and interact more deeply with what we like: in this little otaku world in particular, while some strive to maintain a anime news blog to show their opinions and others are content to attend Discussion forums, some third parties appeal to a side, I would say, more artistic, like the creation of fanfics or doujins and, which will be the subject of this post, fanarts. Amidst so much adult content that explores and fantasizes in countless ways the characters and situations created by the original works, there is, even if in smaller quantities, a handful of "safe for work" arts., harmless, whose authors only want to portray in them their appreciation for this subculture - and here I'll focus on a kind of material that tries to do this with a little extra creativity and, at times, good humor.

During two Anime Arte posts I will show fanarts that mix characters and situations from different works, and I will divide them according to the argument they use. In this first post there will be two: "seiyuu connection" , a term used in image forums to classify art that portray characters that have a voice actor in common; and "company connection" , which uses the same idea, but with studios instead. Some just put the characters together or change their clothes and that's it, others set up a more elaborate and/or comical scene, but in any case I hope you enjoy the small selection of images I've gathered here for these two cases.
