Gender discrimination happens when people are treated differently simply because they are men or women, rather than looking at their skills or abilities. So far, more and more often, it concerns women. Here are just a few examples of gender discrimination against women that can still be faced today:- Sexual harassment. Cases of sexual violence on the city streets and even at home as part of domestic violence are common since there are people who still ignore women's opinions. - Gender stereotypes at school and at work. It is the stereotypes that are still strong that do not give a woman full freedom for self-realization. Because of gender, the achievements of women in school or at work can be belittled. - Objectification. When the personality is erased, and only the object remains. A striking example is an appearance imposed by magazines for a long time. When a woman became an object and had to look like a contrived image. Women who did not live up to the standard of beauty are oppressed. They are denied work, teased at school and universities.
