After an atmospheric river delivered 3 feet of fresh snow to the high peaks of the Sierra Nevada, ski season is officially getting a head start in California. Yesterday, Palisades Tahoe announced that it would be joining Mammoth Mountain by opening for the season on Friday, October 27. And this is a VERY early season. In fact, it’s only the third time in Palisades Tahoe history that they’ve been able to open to the public in October!
