For visitors, this means that there are no restrictions for restaurants in regards to opening hours, placement of tables and amount of guests per table. Shops and boutiques no longer have restrictions on the amount of patrons allowed into the store at the same time. Theatres, sporting events, cinemas and other indoor venues no longer have restrictions on the amount of guests allowed to attend events.Stortorget in Gamla StanPhoto by Visit Stockholm/mediabank.visitstockholm.comIn regards to travel to Sweden, the government has now removed all entry restrictions from other EU/EAA countries and Switzerland. There are still restrictions in place (until March 31st)  for entry from other countries. This may include Covid vaccination certificates or proof of negative Covid test. So, take the above information on travel restrictions with a grain of salt and make sure you keep updated on all current restrictions in case any changes happen. Secondly, just because restrictions have been lifted, it doesn't mean that the pandemic is over. Numbers are still relatively high when it comes to new transmissions. Follow all recommendations, especially when it comes to social distancing and hygiene. Stay safe and vigilant and we can make sure restrictions don't return!
