Luckily there is always a nerd that came before you: in this case the one that drew the family-tree of the Buendías which made it possible for me to reach the (amazingly wonderful) end of this (undoubtedly great) book. I guess either you spend your time inventing a good plot or new names for 6 generations of male characters, right?
