The Embassy of Indonesia in Ottawa is the diplomatic mission of Indonesia in the Canadian capital of Ottawa. It is located on Parkdale Avenue, just south of the Ottawa River in the Mechanicsville neighbourhood. The embassy moved to this location in the mid 1990s. Diplomatic relations between Canada and Indonesia were first established in 1949 and ambassadors were exchanged in 1952. For many years the embassy was the site of protests over East Timor, the massacre of ethnic Chinese Indonesians and other Indonesian human rights abuses.
