File Dropper has been criticized for perpetual "Coming Soon" features and for not allowing its users to change their account password or e-mail address, leading to security concerns. For example, if a users password is guessed or discovered, their account will be fully accessible by the offending party for as long as the account exists since the account owner cannot change their password, rendering their account virtually useless.
