Uberlândia (Brazilian Portuguese: [ubeʁˈlɐ̃diɐ]) is the core city of the Brazilian region of Triângulo Mineiro, west of Minas Gerais. With a population of 600,349 in habitants as of 2010, the city is the third largest in the state only behind Belo Horizonte (2,434,642) and Contagem, an industrial city located in the outskirts of the Greater Belo Horizonte.
