Festivals with names like I Love Techno and Down the Rabbit Hole were winners at the 6th annual European Festival Awards on Wednesday. The event, which honors Europe's best festivals, artists and promoters, took place at Groningen's De Oosterpoort in The Netherlands.
Best major festival honors went to the Sziget Festival in Hungary; Glastonbury in the U.K. was hailed for having the best line-up; and promoter of the year went to Live Nation, for its work in Belgium. As for artists, Arctic Monkeys took home best headliner and anthem of the year, for "R U Mine."
